Hopper Roadside — Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-17

These terms cover the Hopper Roadside mobile apps and web dashboard ("Service") run by Hopper Freight LLC d/b/a Hopper Roadside, a Delaware limited liability company of Montana, USA. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

Accounts

You must be 18 or older and give accurate information. Keep your login private; you're responsible for activity on your account. Company accounts are responsible for the office staff and drivers they add.

Roadside services

Hopper connects customers with towing and roadside providers. Services are performed by Hopper drivers (independent contractors) or partner companies. Arrival times are estimates. Prices for a job are shown or agreed before service; payment is processed by Stripe.

Company subscriptions

Partner companies subscribe and pay on the Hopper Roadside website / web dashboard. Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled; canceling stops dispatch for that company at the end of the change. Subscriptions are not sold inside the iOS or Android apps.

Drivers

Drivers are independent contractors, not employees. Pay offers, GOA and payout terms are set out in the Independent Contractor Agreement accepted during onboarding.

Acceptable use

No harassment, threats, spam, illegal activity, false jobs, or attempts to access other users' data. You can report messages and block users in chat; we and the responsible company office may review reports and suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

Location and notifications

Customers share location to request help. Drivers share location only during an active job (from accepting it until it ends), including in the background, so dispatch and customers can see arrival.

Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Hopper isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid Hopper in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Changes & termination

We may update these terms; we'll show the new date above and notify you of material changes. You can delete your account any time (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

Louisiana law, USA. Privacy: see https://dashboard.hopperroadside.com/privacy.
